XL Bully Information Evening
This is a free event and we are limited on the amount of people who can attend, so please, if you’re wanting to come along, email media@teckelsanimalsanctuaries.co.uk and include how many people you’re bringing along! If it proves popular, we may be able to host another in the new year!

Calling all XL Bully parents! (& those of you who want to learn more!)
On the 20th December we will be holding an information evening upstairs at The Fromebridge Mill Pub, in Whitminster at 6.45pm.
The evening is to help give more information to those of you who own, or who think they may own an XL Bully under the new legislation. We are fortunate to be joined by Local Dog legislation officers and Dog wardens, who will help dispel myths around the subject, and hopefully put minds at ease around what can be done to help owners transition and follow the new laws.

We will also have our own behaviourist attending to give information on where owners can buy the relevant equipment needed, like muzzles to comply with the new rules, some information on muzzle training and lead work, and how to check your dog is chipped and how to update owners details.

We are very saddened by the new law coming into force very soon, and so want to help owners understand what that will mean for them and their four legged friends, and how best we can support them going forward.

We would like to prioritise spaces for owners at this event, and anyone who is directly involved with working or caring for XL Bully’s. Any negative behaviour shown towards owners at event will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave. This will be a safe space where we can openly discuss any worries relating to the ban, and what can be done to help.

Please note, that whilst the pub is dog friendly, the room where the meeting will be help is not. So please don’t bring dogs to the meeting on this occasion.
