Location: Whitminster, Gloucestershire
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (job share considered)
Salary: £30,000+ depending on experience
Closing date: Tuesday 6th August 2025

Teckels Animal Sanctuaries is looking for an experienced, dynamic and passionate Fundraising and Events Manager to lead income generation for our charity.

This is a varied, hands-on role with real potential to make a difference – not only to our rescue animals, but to the long-term sustainability of our sanctuary.

About the Role

You’ll be at the heart of our fundraising efforts – planning, delivering and growing activities that bring in vital income and raise awareness of our work.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing all fundraising events – from initial idea, to delivery on the day, and post-event analysis

  • Building and strengthening corporate partnerships and relationships with local businesses

  • Managing and supporting our Volunteer & Community Coordinator, helping make the most of our brilliant volunteer network

  • Exploring and expanding additional income streams, such as grants and legacy giving (training can be provided)

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership, bring fresh ideas, and see tangible results from their work.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised, proactive and full of ideas

  • A confident relationship builder with excellent people skills

  • Motivated to bring in income and secure the future of the charity

  • Adaptable and able to think on their feet in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Experience in grant writing and legacy fundraising is desirable, but not essential – we’re happy to support the right candidate to grow these skills.

We’re also open to job share applications (2 x 20-hour roles) for the right candidates.

How to Apply

Please send your CV and a cover letter explaining why you’re a great fit for the role to:
