Join Our Team: Canine Behaviourist- Maternity Cover 12 months

Full time position of 42.5 hours week, fixed term contract.

Teckels are looking to recruit a hardworking, compassionate and knowledgeable Behaviourist for 12 months maternity cover.

The role involves training and managing our more challenging dogs to help them find their forever homes, as well as supporting the team to help them maximise each dogs full potential.

We are seeing an ever increasing number of dogs and cats needing our help, so would love to find someone who is equally as passionate about helping our cause as the rest of our wonderful team!

As we are a small team, the role does involve some daily husbandry duties, as well as the behaviour work. This role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking to really make a difference to rescue dogs in the Gloucestershire area.

Candidates must be resilient, have great people skills and the ability to engage with a variety of individuals.

Interviews will take place on 3rd and 4th April, with second stage interviews on 6th April.

Candidates must be available to start no later than 13th May.


🕒 Work Schedule:

Working 42.5 hours a week across assigned days/shifts as agreed/designated by the manager, some evening shifts.

Days off are either Friday/Saturday or Sunday/Monday each week, to allow for weekend appointments with adopters.

Shifts are either 7am-4:30pm or 10am-7pm.
