Boarding Price Announcement – 1st April 2026

We hope this message finds you and your furry companions well.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support over the past year.

Your trust has allowed us to provide exceptional care to the animals under our guardianship. As a Sanctuary dedicated to the well-being of dogs and cats, our foremost priority is to ensure their comfort, health, and safety.

However, we must address the realities of rising operational expenses that directly impact our ability to maintain the standards of care you’ve come to expect from us.

After careful consideration, the board has made the decision to adjust our boarding fees, effective from 1st April 2026.

Important: All bookings from this date onwards will be at the new prices, regardless of when they are booked.

The new prices are as follows:

Boarding RequirementPrice Per Day
One dog, single pen£28.00
Two dogs, sharing one pen£39.00
Three dogs, Sharing one pen£50.00

Dog Day Care
Drop off between 8:15am and 6:30pm, 7 days a week

(earlier drop-off times can be arranged on request)
Price per day
1 Dog£25.50
2 Dogs sharing a kennel£35.50
3 Dogs sharing a kennel£45.50
Cat BoardingPrice
One cat, single pen£16.00
Two cats, sharing one pen£22.50
Three cats, Sharing one pen£28.00

This increase reflects the escalating costs associated with employment due to minimum wage, National Insurance, utilities, and the procurement of essential supplies.

The funds generated from boarding fees contribute directly to the upkeep of the Sanctuary, including veterinary bills, medication, and managing inflationary pressures. Our boarding operation continues to be a not-for-profit enterprise and solely a fundraising initiative to help us rescue, rehabilitate and rehome the most vulnerable animals in Gloucestershire.

We understand that any price adjustment can be concerning, but please rest assured that this decision was made with the utmost consideration for the well-being of the animals in our care.

Our commitment to providing a nurturing and secure environment remains unwavering, and your continued support enables us to uphold this mission.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this transition period. We assure you that every penny of your boarding fees directly contributes to the welfare of the animals and the sustainability of our Sanctuary.

We will update our website with the new pricing structure closer to the effective date of 1st April 2026. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have.

Thank you once again for your continued support and trust in our sanctuary. We can ensure a brighter future for every furry friend entrusted to our care.

Warm regards,

Sarah Johnson

Sanctuary Manager
