We can accommodate a range of dog sizes, as well as pairs or families in our larger pens.
Dogs can be exercised and entertained in a range of ways including play time in one of our on-site paddocks, off-site walks and kennel-based enrichment activities and gadgets.
As well as a cosy bed in one of our heated kennels complete with an outside run, we play selected canine-approved music to aid relaxation.
Your dog will return home tired and content so you can both have a relaxing evening.
We have no hidden extra costs and don’t charge for food (unless a prescription diet is to be supplied by the owner), the size of your dog, walks, toys, administration of medication, treats or cuddles.
There is no commitment to regular bookings – just let us know when it suits you and your dog.
Please note though, that during busy boarding periods, our kennels do get booked up and we advise you to book early for Christmas, Easter and summer holiday periods to ensure your slot!

What's Included in Dog Daycare?
Digestive Requirements
We understand the importance of supporting your dog’s digestive system and therefore provide a choice of wet and dry dog food to help maintain a balanced diet.
If your dog has a special dietary requirement, then we ask you to provide any food needed to uphold this and prescription diets must also be supplied by the owner.
We keep a range of raw diet food in stock but this diet will be charged at £1 per dog, per day as an additional cost. Fresh water is always available as well as lots of treats! (with your permission of course).
Kennel Accommodation
We can accommodate a range of dog sizes, as well as pairs or families in our larger pens.
Our kennels provide a spacious inside sleeping area as well as a sheltered external run. This allows our doggy guests to access fresh air whatever the weather.
Our kennels are all fitted with heat lamps ensuring warmth during the colder seasons.
Both internal and external areas are provided with quality bedding for your dog’s comfort. Cosy beds are fitted to suit the size of each dog to ensure your pet feels snug and secure during their stay. This can be a range of basket beds, padded cushion beds or duvets beds depending on your dog’s preference.
Exercise
Your dogs will receive 2 blocks of one-to-one exercise every day and will be exercised and entertained in a range of ways.
This includes off-site walks around the village, supervised playtime with toys in our on-site secure paddocks or cuddles and grooming on the sofa in one of our home rooms.
Teckels also provides a variety of kennel-based enrichment and activities.
Health Checks
We perform daily health checks and monitor weight throughout their stay to ensure that your dog is not gaining or losing too much weight.
If this happens, we will adjust the diet accordingly. We can also administer any medication required both oral and intramuscular as per your instructions.
Upon collection, we will discuss our health checks with you and discuss anything that may have been addressed during their stay.
What you need to know...
Vaccination Requirements
An up-to-date vaccination certificate must be produced upon arrival each time of boarding to ensure that your dog has been fully vaccinated. For the comfort of all guests, we ask you to ensure that your per is up to date with worming and flea treatments.
We do advise our clients to inoculate against Kennel Cough annually – whilst the vaccine does not completely eradicate the possibility of dogs contracting Kennel Cough, it does reduce the chance of infection. If your dog has been vaccinated there MUST BE A CLEAR 14 DAYS between the vaccination date and the start of their boarding session.
