My name is
Age: 10 months
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Dennis has come to the centre as a stray so unfortunately, we don’t have any history for him. This handsome lad loves nothing more than to have cuddles, treats and exciting walks.
Dennis is very talkative when he is left alone, so is looking for a multi person household. He would like his new family to be around most of the time and help him with his anxiety when being left. We are unsure how long he will be able to be left for, so his new family will need to consider this.
Dennis has shown potential to have some walking buddies once he's settled into his new home but has shown some worries about dogs, particularly bigger, bouncier ones and would therefore like to be the only pet in his new home. Dennis will need further socialisation and training in the future to continue to build his confidence around dogs.
As Dennis is still a young dog (and lacks some manners!), he will need further training to help him with his basic obedience skills using positive reward-based training. We would strongly recommend training classes to help get this clever boy on the right track.
Dennis could potentially live with children over the age of 11 (again, depending on introductions at the centre) and will need a secure, private garden to play in.
If you feel you are perfect the perfect match for Dennis, please head over to the 'how to adopt' page and complete the adoption form.
Due to the high number of emails we receive we will only be contacting successful applicants.
